- A four-input internal option when a production host has an M.2 2280 Type M PCIe Gen2 x4 slot and four SDI sources must be connected. The assessed operating arrangement is deliberately one 1080p60 feed, because the sources do not give a complete all-four simultaneous rate matrix.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The small M.2 module uses MMCX breakouts rather than four direct BNC jacks and has no documented passthrough output. Its advertised 144fps maximum is qualified and not a four-channel guarantee; M.2 keying, lane routing, cooling, the no-Mac-driver limitation and SDI format exceptions need checking.
