Why consider this model?

  • A bulky, supported-site lounge package to compare when the 8-foot open mesh spreader-bar body and same-package Apollo straps suit a patio, basecamp or car-camp plan. ENO positions the hammock as a backyard lounge rather than an ultralight overnight shelter.

Tradeoffs to weigh

  • The hammock alone is listed at 15 pounds 8 ounces, so the strap-included package is not a light backpacking choice. Its mesh is the hammock body, not an enclosing insect screen; the listing includes no tarp or under-body insulation. ENO's bundle page repeats an ambiguous 14-foot-6-inch dimension and gives a conflicting total-weight line, so this assessment uses neither as a resolved pack or body measurement.
