The standard US Montaro Pro style 139 matches a documented adult trail/Spherical-Mips scenario at 57 cm. Medium is only the manufacturer-chart interval that includes this measurement, not a personal fit confirmation; CPSC compliance remains unknown.

Assessment scenario: Adult trail riding with Spherical/Mips at 57 cm
An assessment scenario for an adult trail rider with a 57 cm circumference who wants Giro Spherical Technology powered by Mips. The chart suggests a Medium try-on starting point, not a fit result; the scenario does not establish CPSC compliance.
Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- Giro classifies the exact standard US style as a half-shell and describes trail, enduro and e-MTB riding with Spherical Technology powered by Mips.
- The S/M/L chart spans 51–63 cm; 57 cm is inside the 55–59 cm Medium interval, which is a try-on starting point rather than proof of fit.
- The style 139 page names Roc Loc Trail Air, 23 Wind Tunnel vents and NTA certification, though its NTA version and test details are not specified.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The exact standard and Special Edition US pages do not state CPSC compliance; the matcher does not treat the unknown as meeting a CPSC requirement.
- The NTA wording on style 139 gives no named version or test details; style 144 Special Edition does not restate an NTA certification statement.
- Twenty-three vents are a manufacturer specification, not a comparative cooling result; no head-shape profile or exact-style Medium weight was found.
- The charted S/M/L range stops at 63 cm and cannot certify individual fit or establish full-face suitability.
Check these before ordering
- Check that the offer is Montaro Pro US style 100000000500000139, then confirm the intended size, color and package; the observed Stone / S configuration is SKU GR-7205975.
- If considering Graphite Burst Special Edition style 100000000500000144 (observed SKU GR-7208825), verify that exact helmet’s NTA and other required certification markings instead of carrying over style 139 wording.
- Inspect the physical helmet label and obtain exact-version documentation if CPSC or e-bike-specific certification is essential.
- Try the actual size with Giro’s instructions, check that it sits stable and level, review seller return terms, and recheck current recall notices.
