Assessment scenario only: Bell 5Fifty Spherical is a half-shell trail model with a Bell-listed CPSC statement and Spherical/Mips design. At 58 cm Bell's M (55–59 cm) and L (58–62 cm) chart rows overlap, so this circumference identifies two sizes to try, not a fit or size recommendation.

Assessment scenario: Assessment scenario: 58 cm trail use with CPSC and Spherical/Mips required
Assessment scenario only: trail riding, a 58 cm measurement, a documented US CPSC statement and Spherical/Mips. Bell charts 5Fifty M at 55–59 cm and L at 58–62 cm, so 58 cm is in two overlapping bands; this page is not a fit result or a visitor-intent inference.
Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- Bell lists the exact style in its US MTB range, calls the model a half-shell and describes it for trail riders; trail is the use requirement in this assessment scenario.
- The exact US page states CPSC Certification and names Spherical Technology powered by Mips, matching the two requested model-level features; no injury outcome is inferred.
- At the scenario's 58 cm value, Bell's chart includes M at 55–59 cm and L at 58–62 cm. This is evidence of overlapping chart options and a reason to try both sizes, not a personal fit conclusion.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- Bell lists 500 g at size L only; the observed Black/Red / M weight is not stated. No independent ventilation/cooling or fit measurement is available.
- The exact CPSC line states no age threshold. The page does not document age-specific suitability, a head-shape profile or compatibility with a particular eyewear or camera/light setup.
- A source page cannot establish an individual seller unit's authenticity, condition, impact history, inclusion of accessories or current recall status.
Check these before ordering
- Confirm US style 100000000500000136 and the actual finish/size; at 58 cm both M and L chart rows apply, so check the live Bell chart and try each exact size rather than choosing by circumference alone.
- Inspect the exact helmet's CPSC markings, instructions and condition, ask about its impact history, and check current Bell/CPSC notices and seller return terms.
- Confirm whether the visor, eyewear storage and camera/light mount suit your actual equipment and what the exact offer includes; Bell's feature list is not proof of package contents or device compatibility.
