Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A possible fit for a household that wants a powered swing and a separately usable floor bouncer. Graco lists the same full-size 34 by 33 by 43 inch body as the DuetSoothe; the 21.8 lb unit is not a compact carry frame. The removable seat’s 18 lb / 30 in bouncer ceiling remains separate from the 30 lb swing maximum.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The swing is listed for up to 30 lb but stops earlier if the infant tries to climb out; the detachable floor-only bouncer is limited to 18 lb or 30 in and stops at sit-up attempts. Keep the swing fully reclined until at least four months and head control; the manual does not establish that the detached bouncer is for newborn use. Five D cells power the swing motor and a separate D cell powers optional bouncer vibration. The exact seat wash method remains care-tag dependent. The swing is not multi-directional according to Graco’s Q&A, but its specific axis is not established.
