Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A useful earlier-model reference when the exact J6978 label and a four-D-cell swing with caregiver-selected travel direction are relevant. The model support description lists use from birth, while the exact manual also gives a 20 lb maximum and earlier posture/activity stops; its pad and toys may be washed separately.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- Mattel reports this swing was discontinued in 2008. The exact sources reviewed do not establish a current offer, minimum child weight, assembled/folded dimensions, mains-adapter plan or condition and completeness of a used unit. The manual's 20 lb maximum is not permission to continue use after independent sitting or an earlier activity/climb-out stop.
