Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A useful earlier-model reference for shoppers comparing a documented dual-direction powered cradle swing with an adapter or four-D-cell operating option, six speeds and a 25 lb cap. The two directions are selected by rotating the seat tube; no motion-clearance footprint is published.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- There is no current offer or retail finish SKU established, and Mattel links distinct three- and five-point-restraint manuals for V1179. A used unit needs its label, correctly matched manual, intact restraint and appropriate original 6 V adapter if the mains plan is wanted. Neither the 25 lb ceiling nor a from-birth listing overrides the configuration-specific posture and earlier activity/climb-out stops.
