Explore this buying guide ↗Why consider this model?
- A possible fit for a freshwater working volume up to Fluval’s 15-US-gallon rating when a fully submerged, adjustable in-tank heater with a 72–90°F dial range is wanted and the 10.5-inch body fits the aquarium.
Tradeoffs to weigh
- The T50 has a glass heater tube and its indicator is not a numerical water-temperature display; no numeric thermostat-accuracy tolerance is published. Its maximum rating depends on room and tank conditions. Saltwater capability is not counted as confirmed because the North American instructions say fresh water only and product-page wording is inconsistent.
