The MX Anywhere 3S is aimed at work that moves between desks, bags, and computers. Logitech’s business datasheet identifies a right-handed design and lists a 99 g body measuring 100.5 mm long, 65 mm wide, and 34.4 mm high. Those dimensions make it a plausible compact option, but they do not predict comfort for every hand. If you prefer a broad palm rest or use a left hand, treat the shape as a decisive check rather than assuming that a familiar brand name settles it.

MagSpeed helps scrolling, while horizontal movement is different

Logitech describes the wheel as MagSpeed, with a precision and free-spinning mode. That addresses vertical scrolling through documents and pages. Its consumer feature table lists no thumb wheel, so this review does not count it as a separate horizontal-navigation control. Logitech’s support instructions describe horizontal scrolling through a side-button and wheel gesture instead. That may be enough for occasional wide sheets, but someone who uses horizontal timelines or spreadsheets all day should compare a model with a dedicated thumb control.

Three-device pairing is useful only with a little setup

The mouse can pair with up to three Bluetooth devices through Easy-Switch. Logitech also documents Logi Bolt compatibility, although the consumer package does not include the receiver. The practical choice is therefore Bluetooth when the computer supports it, or a separately purchased Bolt receiver when you want that receiver ecosystem. Pair each computer before relying on the switch. The three-channel claim describes stored connections; it does not promise an automatic cross-computer workflow or transfer of every setting without Logitech software.

Rechargeable power changes the packing routine

Logitech rates the internal battery for up to 70 days and provides USB-C charging. That removes AA cells from the regular packing list, but an advertised maximum is not a measured promise for your use. Keep a charging cable where you work and check the battery before a trip. Those names look close but answer different hand requirements. Confirm the model number, size, and handedness in the seller listing before buying. Logitech’s consumer page describes a contoured shape, soft thumb area, and rubber side grips; the specification sheet lists the standard body at about 101.4 g.

Quiet clicks are a workspace feature

Logitech presents the M650 around reduced click noise, a contoured shape, and a SmartWheel that changes between precise and faster scrolling. That combination targets a desk where concentration or shared space matters. It does not establish sensor accuracy, gaming performance, or comfort for your own hand. Treat the quiet-click claim as a reason to shortlist the mouse, then use the return policy if fit is uncertain. SmartWheel remains one central wheel, so it should not be counted as a dedicated horizontal thumb control.

One connection channel changes the multi-computer answer

The M650 can connect through Bluetooth Low Energy or a Logi Bolt receiver, but Logitech’s support specification describes direct connection as one channel. That is enough for one main computer and leaves you a choice of connection method. It is not the same as storing three computers and switching among them with Easy-Switch.
